Dubai is a fascinating destination. There are plenty of places to explore and see all in one place!

Urban explorers will have a lot to love about the city as it is full of beautiful locations, especially those with water. The United Arab Emirates is mostly flat, and Dubai is not an exception. There are plenty of old and modern buildings, highways, islands and sand strips to explore. Also, there are plenty of photo-worthy places, for example a car racing track that looks like the sand strip, or a gigantic manmade arch that looks like a bird’s nest, or the Sultan Mosque.

I’ve seen many Dubai photos on the Internet, and I could say that it’s the city where I know more places and have found more interesting places than any other one I have visited in the whole world.

Luxury Travel Experiences:

If we talk about the world’s best luxury resorts and hotels, Dubai is in the second place, right after the island of Koh Samui in Thailand. But, to be honest, I have never been to these hotels. So, if you want to see what luxurious places and most expensive things are, you’ve got to visit Dubai!

The list of top 5 hotels in Dubai is long. So, let’s mention some of the top five places to stay in Dubai:

The Burj Khalifa

The Burj Khalifa, which literally means the ‘Palace on the Rock’ is the tallest building in the world and the 8th tallest building in the world. The building contains of:

72 stories, in which 53 floors are for accommodation.

floors and are for accommodation. 17 stories above the ground, for the observation deck.

eight-stories below ground, for the garage.

up to 84,000 tons of steel and 11 million bricks.

Shopping – It’s the Largest Shopping Destination on Earth

Dubai is the city of “luxury shopping” and its strong suit is gold and diamonds. That’s why all the eyes in the jewelry world are usually on Dubai. There are more than 200 stores and countless malls to shop in.

When I was there, the streets were full of stylish people. Even the black leather rugs and the gold jewelry were on sale. Dubai is a very fashionable city for all the designers from all over the world.

Dubai is also a wonderful place to visit when you are on a budget, as you can find many quality designer stores at cheap prices.

The Dubai Mall – the largest shopping mall in the world – is a must to visit in Dubai. It is completely open air, and is about as big as an NFL field. For 24 hours it has a total area of 175,000 square meters, with 1,200 stores.

What is really interesting, you can visit the carousel inside the mall. The Dubai Mall has 28,000 individual carousels.

I think it’s a great place to shop for any souvenirs and gifts. One of the best places to shop in Dubai is the Mall of Emirates, which is a miniature city. You can see a selection of local food, and you can find all kinds of snacks, clothes, toys, cosmetics, electronic devices and perfumes.

Mall of Emirates also has a water park called Legoland Dubai. I went there several times, and I really like it. You can have a nice relaxing time with your friends and kids. And, in the evening, you can watch a show in the AquaDome with the best laser lights!

Dubai has a lot of tourist attractions. One of the most popular ones is the Burj Khalifa, which is an iconic building. It is always full of people. If you want to climb up the Burj Khalifa, you have to wait for 2-3 hours in the queue. That’s what I did.

There are some other famous landmarks, such as the Atlantis Hotel, The Dubai Mall, The Dubai Fountain, the Burj Al Arab, The Dubai Mall, the Dubai Marina, the Dubai Planetarium, the Emirates Palace Hotel, the Mall of Emirates, the Dubai Boardwalk and the Burj Al Arab.

Dubai has its own metro, and it is much cheaper than the London, New York or Moscow subway. It is fast, and it is good in quality. You can find metro stations on many sides of the city.

Shopping – The Best Shopping Street on Earth

Dubai is also famous for its beaches. If you want to go shopping and eat at the same time, you can go to the Downtown Souk.

There are 3.3 miles of international fashion stores, jewelry shops, souvenir shops, or you can go to the many malls and you can shop from different stores. You can also go to the outdoor restaurants, clubs and a nightclub on the beach, in the evening. You can find restaurants with excellent food at many affordable prices.

If you are looking for a small souvenir for your family or friend, you can go to the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, where there are shopping centers with the most expensive items at low prices. You can also find great art exhibitions.

When I was in Dubai, I visited the historic part of the city. It is located next to the Burj Al Arab, the most luxurious hotel on the beach. This is where the old downtown Dubai used to be. It has its own souks and is full of local charm. It has its own narrow streets, with palm trees and interesting architecture.
